At Murdoch University, our Graphic Design course is an industry focused program that integrates innovative design strategy with practical skills for a range of print, digital media and service-contexts. Throughout the degree, students work with real organisations on real projects and complete internships through our work-integrated learning program. The course promotes design thinking and provides a strong work-related learning experience that prepares students for a range of print (branding and publication design), digital (web, mobile app) and human-centred design (user experience and service design) sectors. Some of our students have interned with global companies like Nike and Red Bull. Students can also be part of our international study tours where they design for service outcomes for clients like the Salvation Army in Singapore. Graphic Design students also have the option to continue onto a fourth year in the Graduate Diploma in Design Thinking and Service Innovation – a new and high demand skill set for a range of industries including design
